List item column like entertainment, subscriptions and food, drink or clothes.

A table with categories in a drop down. 

Have a column amount saves and amount spent. 

Make a pivot table of items to analyse the data.

Use vlookup for category names  / items. 

List items and price to spreadsheet and take out or add what you need.
